My name is Cate Brewer and I am a freshman at NC State. I am currently enrolled in ENG 266, and for our final project we were tasked with selecting one poem from the semester and creating an annotated version of the poem that offers relevant, insightful, and accurate background information to the text. I chose to focus on Emily Dickinson, and more specifically her poem “Your Riches – taught me – Poverty”.
